What we collect

When you submit the contact form or a parts quote request, we receive the name, company, email address, telephone number, the areas of interest you tick, the message you write, and any photographs or documents you attach (typically a nameplate photograph or a bill of materials). We also record which page of this website sent you to the form, so we know what you were looking at.

Our web server also keeps standard access logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. These are generated automatically by the hosting platform and are used for security and troubleshooting.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, how people arrived here, and what kind of device and browser they used. Google receives that information as part of providing the service. We do not send Google the contents of any form you submit, and we have turned off Google's advertising and cross-site signalling features on this site.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information. Ever, to anyone.
• We do not run advertising trackers or behavioral profiling on this site.
• We do not load third-party fonts. Fonts are served from our own domain.
• We do not send marketing email to people who simply submitted an inquiry.

Cookies

This site sets a session cookie once you interact with a form. It holds a security token used to verify that the form submission genuinely came from this website and not from a third party forging a request on your behalf. It contains no personal information, it is not used to track you, and it expires when you close your browser.

Google Analytics also sets first-party cookies on our domain (_ga and _ga_ERSGM5YR4T). They remember that your browser has visited before, so repeat visits can be distinguished from new ones. They do not contain your name, email address, or anything you type into a form, and they last up to two years. You can delete them in your browser, or use a browser setting or extension that blocks analytics cookies.

Videos

Some pages include video. YouTube videos are not loaded until you press play: a still image served from this website is shown first. Pressing play loads a YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube then receives that you watched it. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. If you would rather not use YouTube, do not press play — the rest of the page does not depend on it. Self-hosted videos, when we use them, are served from this website and do not involve a third party.

Why we keep inquiries

Form submissions are saved to our own database as well as emailed to us. That is a deliberate reliability decision rather than a data-collection one: if email delivery fails, an inquiry about a cooling tower that is out of service must not silently disappear.

We use what you send us to respond to your inquiry, to prepare quotations and to keep a record of work discussed. We keep inquiry records for as long as they remain commercially useful, and we can delete yours on request.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider stores the site and its database, and our email provider transmits the notification message. Neither uses your information for their own purposes. Google LLC operates Google Analytics and therefore receives the page-view information described above; Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. We may share details with a manufacturer or supplier where that is necessary to identify or price a part you have asked about: for example, sending a nameplate photograph to a gear drive manufacturer to confirm a model. We will not share anything else without asking you.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and sanitized on the server, and the form handler is protected against cross-site request forgery and mail-header injection.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@towerperformance.com or call (713) 643-0691 and we will deal with it.

Children

This is a website about industrial cooling tower service. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change how this site handles information, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
